Any ideas what these mystery plants might be? They're blooming in the problem border that I posted about yesterday.

They almost look like Foxgloves but I m no floral expert though...I think they r pretty though
ReplyDeleteThe colour is very similar to foxgloves but one of my neighbours solved the mystery - they're watsonia, from the iris family - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watsonia_(plant)
ReplyDeleteWe've also got orange and white versions. They are a weed in NZ, of course, but they look nice in the borders and aren't encroaching on the bush too much so I'll leave them be for now.
